Story

April 30, 2008 – “Art from the Hive” introduces a new wave of originality.

Resident artist Justin Boatright uniquely displays modern digital art pieces that are thought-provoking and vividly imaginative.

Showcasing talented underground upcoming artists, Art from the Hive is one of the many featured art galleries located at 712 N. Santiago Street at the Santiago Art District in Downtown Santa Ana. Displaying limited edition mix media fine art, the one-of-a kind creations are worked in contemporary materials, such as wood, acrylic and brushed stainless steel.
Many of the conceptual art pieces include elements of silk-screening, gold leaf foils and digitally applied elements of imagery. Each individual piece is valued and in order to preserve their rare quality, production is narrowed to 5-12 pieces per design.

Originals are made with reclaimed materials and produced using ”green” processes that do not create environmental air pollution or landfill contamination.

Art from the Hive offers abstract art and digital imagery not intended for your average art collector. Each unique piece combines a collage of various elements with an eccentric yet contemporary twist. With one look you may find an unnoticeable face in the distance, while another glance you will discover the statue of liberty. This fine art is sure to accent all types of dwellings.
Whether you are looking to add color to your wall, or a conversation piece for your guests, each piece is glazed with a UV protective coating that ensures your art will keep its luster in any interior space.
You can visit Art from the Hive every third Saturday of the month, where you can enjoy modern art, live music, food and drinks. For more information on how to make an appointment for a private showing or how to create your own custom design art piece, log onto go to www.artfromthehive.com .
